Nasolabial fold filler treatment

What Are Nasolabial Folds?
Nasolabial folds, commonly known as "smile lines" or "laugh lines," are natural creases that extend from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth. These lines are a normal part of facial expression and movement but can deepen over time due to factors like aging, sun exposure, and loss of skin volume. As a result, they can contribute to a tired or aged appearance.

How Is It Corrected?
Our non-surgical filler treatment is designed to smooth and soften nasolabial folds, restoring a refreshed, youthful look. Using FDA-approved dermal fillers, we add volume beneath the skin to gently lift and support the area, reducing the depth of the lines and enhancing the overall facial contours. This quick procedure provides immediate results with minimal downtime, helping you achieve a rejuvenated and confident appearance without the need for invasive surgery.

Duration of Procedure:
The procedure typically takes 20–30 minutes.

Downtime:
There is minimal downtime associated with nasolabial fold treatment. Mild swelling or bruising may occur, but this usually resolves within a few days. You can return to your daily activities immediately after the treatment.

When Does the Effect Occur and What Is Its Duration?
The final results are visible immediately after the procedure, with the full effect becoming more apparent once any swelling subsides, typically within 2–3 days. The effects of dermal fillers typically last between 6 months to a year, depending on the type of filler used and individual factors.

Pre- and Post-Care:

  • Before: To minimize bruising, avoid blood-thinning medications, alcohol, and supplements like fish oil for a few days before the procedure. Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin, and inform your provider of any allergies or sensitivities to filler ingredients.

  • After: Refrain from touching or applying pressure to the treated area immediately after the procedure. Avoid strenuous physical activity, heat exposure (such as saunas), and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Sleeping with your head elevated can help reduce swelling.

When Not Recommended:

  • Not suitable for individuals with active skin conditions or infections near the treated area.

  • Those with severe allergies to hyaluronic acid or other filler ingredients should consult their provider beforehand.

  • Not recommended for individuals with certain skin conditions or medical histories that may interfere with the treatment.
